About Me:

I am incredibly blessed to  be the principal of West Field Elementary!  Our mission is: Where Everyone Succeeds Together.  I see this embodied on a daily basis.   West Field is truly a special place where families and staff partner together to support our children both emotionally and academically.

I grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and always wanted to be a teacher.  I had a student desk and chalkboard in my bedroom and made my younger brother play school on a regular basis.  I moved to Edmond for college, graduating from UCO with a Special Education degree and later returning for my Masters in Educational Leadership.  I taught at John Ross here in Edmond for eight years before helping open Frontier Elementary as their first Assistant Principal.  After three years at Frontier, I came to West Field for two years and then Cross Timbers for one year before returning to West  Field as Principal.   My husband Brad and I  met at a local gym and continue to be avid fitness enthusiasts.   I enjoy teaching group fitness classes at several local facilities.  We’re obsessed with our three rescue dogs: Pepper Ann the Jack Russell Terrier, mixed-breed Lincoln, and Benelli the Blue Heeler.

I am so excited to build upon the legacy of excellence  and create new memories with all our Wildcats!
