TUITION Tuition is calculated on a weekly basis running Monday through Friday. The weekly tuition schedules above shows the amounts charged for the three categories: before care only, after care only, and both (before and after care). Your child's tuition amount is then calculated based on how many days your child is enrolled to attend each week. Oftentimes, the school year begins in the middle of the week. Therefore, the number of days of school in the first week will determine the rate charged. If school begins on Wednesday, a child enrolled for all five days (both before and after) would only be charged the three day rate of $57 (instead of the five day rate of $114) since the program is only open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of that initial week. WITHDRAWAL If a child is discontinuing enrollment and a refund for a partial week attended is necessary, the following procedure will be followed. The amount paid for that week will have the attended day rate subtracted from it. For example, if five days were paid ($114) but the child only attended three days ($57), then the family would be refunded $28. ($114-$57 = $57) POLICY Three late pickups or 3 missed payments will result in termination from the program. You can re-enroll but will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist. It is important to note that even though Aces operates on the premises of West Field Elementary it is under the authority of the onsite director Vincent Swope (westfield.acesplace@edmondschools.net) and Edmond Public Schools Daycare Facilitator, Marci McVay. a brochure with text and images PAYMENT The Edmond before/after care programs run in conjunction with the Edmond Public Schools academic calendar. Programs will be closed during all scheduled breaks (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, snow days, etc.) Tuition is calculated for the scheduled days and times for which your child is enrolled. Refunds and/or reductions will not be made for illnesses, absences, and other activities. Payment may be made with check, cash, or credit/debit card (online). Nonpayment can result in the loss of your child's spot in the before/after care program. Payment records are available at: https://ok-edmond.intouchreceipting.com (view fees due, make credit/debit card payments, print receipts, print tax information) or upon request. In the event school is closed due to a holiday, snow day, etc., you will not be charged for that day. For example, if your child is enrolled five days and school is only open four days, you will be charged the four-day rate on the payment scale. Any credit due for a cancelled school day (such as a snow day) will be reflected in the following month's statement. IN TOUCH PAYMENTS ATTENDANCE Parents will need to advise the days and times your child will attend for safety purposes. The # of days your child signs up for may not vary from week to week. Parents must commit to paying for all days enrolled whether your child attends or not. SIGN IN/OUT Parents will drop off at the back loop and sign students in. In the afternoon, parents will sign out students and pick them up at the back door. ACTIVITIES Students will experience a variety of activities including but not limited to games, outdoor play (weather permitting), arts and crafts, balls, jump ropes and board gam Crafts Students must leave personal toys, electronic games, balls or craft items at home. SNACKS Snacks are provided. If a student chooses to bring their own snack they will have the opportunity to have snack with the rest of Aces. Students are welcome to bring their own water bottle. DISCIPLINE In order to provide your child with appropriate and safe daycare, we take the following steps for instances when our expectations are not followed: • talks • • reminders positive reinforcement • redirection In the event these options are not effective, we will adhere to the following actions: 1. We will notify the parents in the form of a formal write-up #1 2.If the problem continues, we will notify the parents with a formal write-up #2 3.If the problem continues, the parents will be notified to pick up the child along with a 3rd formal write-up. 4.If the behavior persists, we will dismiss the child from daycare.
