Mr. Swope was joined by his wife, children, family members, friends and former colleagues as he was announced Site Teacher of the Year for 2026.
Each year teachers nominate a fellow educator who shows exceptional skill and dedication, communicates effectively, demonstrates creative and imaginative teaching and inspires the value of learning in all students.
Mr. Swope fits all of these qualities with determination, while keeping a positive attitude. He is always willing to jump in and help out where needed. His innovative lessons , after school program and yearly Bring Your Parents to PE event unite students and the community.
He is a true representation of the Wildcat Way!
